A significant percentage of the Group’s shareholding is owned by local institutional investors and pension funds including the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA), which means every working Zambian has a stake in the Company. Zambeef is fully committed to developing and training its employees at all levels. the company support small and medium scale outgrowers; a large percentage of our cattle, pigs, chickens and milk are sourced in rural areas or through outgrower schemes.
Overall comment
According to 2021 annual report, the company generated an operating profit, including profit from assets held for sale, of ZMW299.3 million (USD14.1 million), which is higher than 2020.
