No MoU yet. Egypt pledges support to South Sudan for the development of a range of water related projects. The Egypt government reserved funds for the construction of the Wau dam on the Jur river, but withdrew from this project in 2015 due to the unstable political situation. It also established a river marina in November 2010 in Wau city in northwestern South Sudan, on the western bank of the Jur River, in Wau County, Wau State. However, there are no irrigation projects in this area.
