Ile, Mozambique

Zambezia is a province of Mozambique, located in the central coastal region. The provincial capital is Quelimane, 1600 km north of Mozambique's capital Maputo. Zambezia has a total area of 103,127 km2 and a population of 3,85 million (census 2007). It is divided in 22 districts and, since 2013, 6 municipalities: Alto Molócuè, Gurúè, Maganja da Costa, Milange, Mocuba e Quelimane.

Manica is a province located in the central region of Mozambique. Provicial capital is Chimoio 1100 km north of Maputo, the country's capital, and 200km west of coastal city Beira. It has an area of 62,272 km² and a population of 1,412,245 (2007 census). It is divided in 12 districts and 5 municipalities: Catandica, Chimoio, Gondola, Manica e Sussundenga.
