The Local Stakeholder Meeting was organized for the local stakeholder consultation 27/04/2018 and the local stakeholders were informed regarding the meeting by means of Public Notice and personal invitations.
Based on the guideline and directive of Para 133, DOE concluded that Stakeholder consultation is in line with the requirement of this Para 133 and hence conclude that Local stakeholder consultation was conducted properly

There were no major comments or protest raised by the stakeholders and they were totally in support for setting up of these kinds of projects in the region. The meeting was concluded by vote of thanks to all the participants

The validation team also verified the minutes of meeting to note that no negative comments were received and the same was cross checked with the information obtained during follow up interviews with the stakeholder’s.

The project activity provided / provides job opportunity to local people during erection,
commissioning and maintenance of the solar project. Frequency of visiting villages and nearby areas by skilled, technical and industrialist increase due to installation /site visit/operation and maintenance work related to solar plant. This directly and indirectly positively effects the economy of villages and nearby area. HZL built the community hall as well as facilities at nearby temple for public use. During the construction, roads were also completed.

The CDM project activity generates permanent and temporary employment opportunity within the
vicinity of the project. The electricity supply in the nearby area improves which directly and
indirectly improves the economy and life style of the area.
