In 2009, Aracruz was acquired by the Votorantim Group, creating the company Fibria, and in 2019, Fibria was acquired by Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A. Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A.'s expansion is continuous, meaning new lands are added to its portfolio each year.
