The order, signed by DAR Secretary Conrado Estrella III on December 29, 2023, aims to resolve longstanding issues with Hacienda Palico (1,024 hectares), Hacienda Banilad (1,050 hectares), and Hacienda Caylaway (867.4 hectares) that was causing disputes in the region. Under the agreement, about half of the contested property, amounting to 1,322 hectares, will be allocated to the 1,200 farmers. However, more than the half will be allocated to Roxas & Company Inc.
